Since the release of Horehound last year, the Dead Weather has been teasing fans with talk of another album. Horehound was released in July and a few months later, singer Alison Mosshart revealed that the next release was already half finished! Now is has been announced that the Dead Weather's Sea of Cowards is expected to hit stores worldwide May 10/11th! (Right at the peak of festival season ;] )
Originally, Jack White had said that the first single was going to be "Blue Blood Blues," a heavier bluesy track that would feature White on lead vocals. But last month, we were given this gem, "Die By The Drop." It's wicked, it's heavy, and it's AMAZING! Here it is!
This official video for the song was directed by the super talented Floria Sigismondi (who has also worked with Muse, Interpol, The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, Sigur Ros and David Bowie!).
The single for "Die By The Drop" is available for purchase digitally and as a vinyl 7in HERE through the Dead Weather's website and features the B-Side of "Old Mary."
