It's that time of year again kiddies! This Saturday, April 17th will mark the 3rd annual

For anyone who isn't familiar with this magnificent holiday, Record Store Day is one day in the year where all the independent record stores across the country can join together in spirit to celebrate music in all its glory and to honor your local record shops! (It does not celebrate giant, corporate, conglomerate stores, strictly indie!) It was first conceived by Chris Brown (not that Chris Brown, Chris Brown from Bull Moose Music ) and put into motion by the team of Eric Levin, Michael Kurtz, Carrie Colliton, Amy Dorfman, Don Von Cleave, and Brian Poehner back in 2007.

Record Store Day is usually celebrated with having in-store performances or appearances from artists, special releases of material on CD or vinyl, various freebies and a whole lot of madness!

Here's the man himself, Chris Brown, to give ya some sneak peaks of what's to be released..
